Audit Associate

Responsibilities
- Perform financial, operational, and system audits in accordance with auditing standards and procedures
- Conduct internal control reviews and risk assessments
- Prepare audit documentation and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness of audit findings
- Identify and communicate issues or audit findings to management and propose solutions to mitigate identified risks
- Participate in the development and implementation of audit plans, programs and schedules
- Assist with the preparation of the annual audit plan
- Stay up-to-date on the latest accounting and auditing trends and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field
- A minimum of two years of audit-specific experience
- Certification in or working towards a CPA, CIA or CMA certification
- Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, tools, and techniques
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver concise and clear messages
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
