Are you an experienced Bridge Engineer ready to take the lead on complex transportation projects that strengthen connectivity and serve communities? Join a respected multidisciplinary engineering firm as a Project Manager – Bridge Engineer, where your expertise will guide essential bridge design and rehabilitation efforts across Pennsylvania and beyond.

This is your opportunity to manage high-impact projects for municipal and state clients while collaborating with internal experts in structural, civil, traffic, GIS, and surveying. You’ll lead project delivery from initial scoping through design, approvals, and final construction support.

Your Role

  • Oversee design, analysis, and rehabilitation of bridges and transportation structures from start to finish
  • Lead cross-functional project teams and ensure timely, budget-conscious, technically sound execution
  • Act as primary liaison with clients, maintaining strong, professional relationships and responsiveness
  • Conduct and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and regulatory submittals
  • Coordinate with PennDOT, municipalities, and regulatory agencies for permitting and approvals
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
  • Assist in preparing proposals, estimates, and client-facing presentations

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Licensed PE (PA preferred or ability to obtain)
  • 6+ years of bridge design and project management experience
  • Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD, PennDOT standards, and relevant codes
  • Proficiency with bridge analysis software (STAAD, RISA, CSiBridge, or similar)
  • Understanding of inspection protocols, load ratings, and rehabilitation methods
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
