CADD Technician
An industry-leading company located in Charlotte, NC is immediately seeking the expertise of an experienced CADD Technician to join their team.
Responsibilities
- This position will provide CADD support to the survey group. Complete project tasks and assignments in a timely manner within established budgets.
- Process field crew data.
- Prepare state DOT mapping.
- Prepare test-hole reports.
- Gather utility records from utility companies.
- Visit project sites to verify existing utilities.
- Provide quality control and quality assurance on utility services deliverables.
Qualifications
- Prerequisites for employment
- High School Diploma required/Associate’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years of previous survey or utility services-related work experience
- Must possess or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license prior to employment
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of MicroStation
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office
- Work environment and physical demands of this position
- Work will be primarily working with fingers by picking, pinching, typing and grasping often with repetitive motion.
- Visual acuity for viewing a computer screen, and the ability to talk, hear and sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Weekend and overtime work and/or overnight work and travel may be required.
- Additional physical duties may be required as necessary.
