What You’ll Do

  • Take ownership of project delivery from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and client expectations are consistently met.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, designers, and technicians, fostering professional growth and technical excellence.
  • Lead project planning, contract negotiation, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance for multiple active developments.
  • Provide expert guidance in subdivision design, grading, drainage, utility coordination, and agency permitting.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide proactive consulting solutions that drive their land development goals.
  • Build long-term client relationships, pursue repeat business, and actively identify new project opportunities.
  • Represent the firm with professionalism in meetings, presentations, and public forums.
  • Contribute to leadership discussions on office planning, resource allocation, and strategic growth initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Planning (Master’s preferred).
  • Licensure: California Professional Engineer (PE) required — or equivalent experience with the ability to obtain CA registration.
  • Experience: 10+ years in civil engineering or land development, with at least 5 years in a project management or leadership capacity.
  • Expertise: Strong understanding of land development processes, private consulting environments, and project lifecycle management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD/drafting tools and project management software.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to inspire teams, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively across all levels.
