CPA Tax Accountant
An industry-leading company with expertise in Consumer goods, Distribution, Leisure, Technology, Media & Entertainment, and Manufacturing located in Fort Lauderdale, FL is immediately seeking the expertise of an experienced CPA Tax Accountant to join their team. This company specializes in major practice groups such as Tax & Accounting, Audit and Assurance, Business Management and Consulting and is looking for someone with similar experience.
In the role of CPA Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports. Assessing and researching difficult tax issues to identify solutions. Managing and maintaining the company’s tax database. Determining tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits. Ensuring you comply with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities. Offering support and guidance during audits. Evaluating tax regulations and suggest policies that diminish tax burden.
Key requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a tax accountant or similar role.
- Good understanding of MS Office and accounting software.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping processes.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant field.
- CPA license
