CPA Tax Specialist
Hire Resolve is looking for a CPA Tax Specialist to join their team of professionals in Pheonix, Arizona. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting companies with tax planning, compliance, and accounting matters. They will work closely with clients to ensure their financial reports are accurate and in compliance with tax regulations. They will also be responsible for identifying solutions to clients’ financial problems and providing sound advice to help them achieve their financial goals.
Responsibilities
- Gather and review client financial information to prepare tax returns, financial statements, and other related reports.
- Advise clients on taxation issues and develop tax strategies to minimize clients’ tax liability.
- Prepare and file state and federal tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Manage client relationships and provide excellent customer service by addressing their concerns and questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws, rules, and regulations to ensure compliance for clients.
- Research and analyze tax regulations and laws to identify potential tax planning opportunities for clients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification required – AZ
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and planning
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulations
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
