Project Engineer
An industry-leading company located in Fresno, CA is immediately seeking the expertise of an experienced Project Engineer to join their team.
Description:
- Provide administrative support to the Project Superintendent and leadership and training to the project staff and engineers
- Track, review and process Change Proposal Requests, Change Orders, Owner Payment Applications and, if applicable, claims
- Monitor job costs, maintain accurate reports and assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in preparing quantity reports, analyzing the labor costs and completing quarterly profit project records
- Manage the preparation and executing of the Project closeout process
- Research and propose solutions to quality control issues
- Verify that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings and specifications
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management or similar from an accredited institution
- 5 or more years of construction experience
- 5 or more years of experience in the construction of drilled shaft foundations
Preferred but not mandatory:
- Master’s degree
- PE registration
- Estimating and CAD experience
