An industry-leading company located in Austin, Texas is immediately seeking the expertise of an experienced Water Resource Engineer to join their team.

In this role, the Water Resource Engineer will be responsible for projects related to municipal water and wastewater treatment plants, including major treatment plant expansions, regional water quality studies, and critical water reuse projects.

Key requirements:

  • Application of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling systems in urban settings to support the planning and design of related infrastructure
  • Leadership in and direction in hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, report writing and other activities needed to support the planning and design of stormwater management
  • Some travel may be required


  • Familiarity with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and water/sewer hydraulic calculations/ modeling software
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience related to stormwater and water resource projects
  • Experience in the planning, design of solutions for urban stormwater management challenges

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering or related engineering field required
  • Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred
  • EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
