Land Surveying Manager

A well-known firm is looking to hire an expert Land Surveying Manager for their dynamic team.

Responsibilities:​

  • Capable of independent judgment in marketing, scoping, costing, supervising and managing projects.
  • Collaborate with principals, project managers, and clients to participate in project proposals and interviews as requested.
  • Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements including boundary calculations and legal issues.
  • Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations

Requirements:

  • Experience managing large projects or large tasks on big projects
  • Ability to manage a project team as well as multiple projects and deadlines
  • Strong self-motivation and excellent communication skills
  • A working knowledge of conventional survey instrumentation, robotic total stations, GPS equipment and associated data collection applications is desired.
  • Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of complex tasks.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
