Land Surveying Manager
A well-known firm is looking to hire an expert Land Surveying Manager for their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Capable of independent judgment in marketing, scoping, costing, supervising and managing projects.
- Collaborate with principals, project managers, and clients to participate in project proposals and interviews as requested.
- Ensures compliance to all applicable regulations and requirements including boundary calculations and legal issues.
- Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations
Requirements:
- Experience managing large projects or large tasks on big projects
- Ability to manage a project team as well as multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong self-motivation and excellent communication skills
- A working knowledge of conventional survey instrumentation, robotic total stations, GPS equipment and associated data collection applications is desired.
- Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complex tasks.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required
