We are partnering with a mentorship-focused, team-oriented structural engineering firm based in Powder Springs, Georgia. This confidential firm is known for its integrity-driven approach, technical excellence, and collaborative, flexible work environment. Their project portfolio spans commercial, industrial, local government, and federal building projects, offering engineers the opportunity to work on diverse and meaningful structures.
Our client is seeking a Project Structural Engineer with a minimum of three years of experience to join their growing team. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on project involvement, values mentorship, and thrives in a collaborative setting. You’ll work closely with architects, contractors, and clients while contributing to high-quality structural solutions from concept through construction.
You will perform structural analysis and design across a variety of building types, preparing detailed engineering calculations and construction drawings. Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings and submittals, coordinating with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, and conducting site visits and inspections to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required, along with at least three years of relevant structural engineering experience. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred, though candidates actively working toward licensure will be considered. You should be proficient in Revit, RISA, and Bluebeam, and have a working knowledge of building codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI, and NDS. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
This firm values engineers who lead with integrity, pursue excellence, and take a proactive, detail-oriented approach to their work. Successful candidates are collaborative team players, confident in client-facing environments, and strong problem solvers who take ownership of their projects.
Salary range: $85,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience and licensure status.
The benefits package includes health insurance, a retirement plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
This is an opportunity to join a supportive engineering team where mentorship is a priority and professional growth is actively encouraged. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of projects while working in an environment that values both technical rigor and people.
