Tax Manager
An established CPA Firm, which is a client of ours is currently looking for an experienced Tax Manager to lead and manage multiple operations of the tax practice area and to deliver quality tax services, that will increase firm’s reputation. You will serve as business advisor to our clients aiming at maximizing engagement and achieving qualitative outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the timeframe
- Build relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
- Provide innovative tax planning and review complex income tax returns
- Advise clients on corporate, partnership, individual and trust and estate tax services
- Oversee the calculation and analysis of proprietary tax strategies for clients
- Continue to develop relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities
- Provide clients with in-depth industry knowledge
- Ensure that Seniors and Staff are up to date on current tax practices and changes in tax law
- Provide both leadership and supervision to Tax Seniors and Staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required;
- Master of Tax preferred;
- CPA or EA required upon hire in your state of employment
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience;
- Prior experience working with large, multi-state, internationally active middle-market clients preferred;
- Proficient in corporate, partnership and individual taxation
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns
- Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
- Strong leadership and personnel management skills
- Analytical skills with detail orientation
