Senior Project Manager (Municipal)
An industry-leading Civil Engineering firm is looking for a Senior Project Manager (Municipal) to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Responsibilities require being involved in the production and management of projects, as well as managing multiple clients and a project team. More specifically, responsibilities include:
- Maintaining strong overall financial performance
- Preparing proposals, reports, opinions of cost and construction documents
- Organizing and directing the efforts of a project team, including engineers, technicians and sub-consultants
- Managing the technical design of a variety of public projects from the feasibility stage to final design and through construction administration
- Establishing strong client relationships and communication
Requirements:
- B.S. in Civil Engineering
- Current registration as a Professional Engineer (Civil) in the State of Texas
- 8-12 years of Civil Engineer experience
- Strong personal organization and time management skills
- Continuous learner
- Good listening and comprehension skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Creative problem solver
- Strong decision-maker
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Interacts positively, effectively and collaboratively with people in all levels of organizations
- Effective leader and mentor
- Responsive and results oriented in service to clients and the design team
- Design proficiency with roadway, drainage, water, and sanitary sewer infrastructure improvements is required
- Familiarity with the steps and protocols associated with taking projects from the feasibility stage to the construction stage
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
- Strong commitment to professional development
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to effectively train & mentor a qualified & productive team
