Senior Tax Manager
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. Our client is a leading CPA firm with a strong commitment to excellence in financial services. The successful candidate will lead their tax department, ensuring compliance, strategizing tax planning, and providing expert guidance on all tax-related matters.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the tax department, including managing and mentoring junior staff
- Develop and implement tax strategies for clients based on industry regulations and tax codes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and serving as a trusted advisor
- Review tax returns and financial statements prepared by staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Research and analyze tax law changes and their potential impact on clients
- Develop and manage tax planning projects to deliver high-quality solutions to clients
- Manage departmental resources and monitor departmental performance to ensure goals are achieved on time and within budget
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA certification highly preferred
- At least 7 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably with experience leading a tax department
- Exceptional knowledge of industry regulations and tax codes to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings
- Skilled in managing relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service
- Strong leadership and management abilities, with experience managing and mentoring junior staff
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and analyze complex tax situations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members at all levels of the organization
Benefits:
- Salary: $135K/yr – R175K/yr, salary negotiable
