Senior Tax Manager

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Tax Manager to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. Our client is a leading CPA firm with a strong commitment to excellence in financial services. The successful candidate will lead their tax department, ensuring compliance, strategizing tax planning, and providing expert guidance on all tax-related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the tax department, including managing and mentoring junior staff
  • Develop and implement tax strategies for clients based on industry regulations and tax codes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and serving as a trusted advisor
  • Review tax returns and financial statements prepared by staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Research and analyze tax law changes and their potential impact on clients
  • Develop and manage tax planning projects to deliver high-quality solutions to clients
  • Manage departmental resources and monitor departmental performance to ensure goals are achieved on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA certification highly preferred
  • At least 7 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably with experience leading a tax department
  • Exceptional knowledge of industry regulations and tax codes to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings
  • Skilled in managing relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service
  • Strong leadership and management abilities, with experience managing and mentoring junior staff
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and analyze complex tax situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members at all levels of the organization

Benefits:
