Senior Tax Manager X2
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking highly motivated individuals to join the team of a large CPA firm as Senior Tax Managers in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Senior Tax Manager, the successful candidate(s) will play a key role in advising our clients on effective tax strategies and solutions, managing tax projects, and ensuring compliance with local and federal tax laws.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives for clients, including corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning
- Review and analyze complex tax returns and financial statements to ensure compliance with local and federal tax laws
- Oversee the preparation and filing of various tax returns, including income, sales, property, and payroll tax returns
- Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities, including drafting responses and negotiating with the authorities, as needed
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients on the implications of tax laws on their operations
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities for clients
- Communicate effectively with clients and build strong relationships to identify and develop opportunities for the firm
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or a consulting firm
- A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
- In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including federal, state and local tax laws
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex tax issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical tax concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Benefits:
