Senior Tax Manager X2

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking highly motivated individuals to join the team of a large CPA firm as Senior Tax Managers in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Senior Tax Manager, the successful candidate(s) will play a key role in advising our clients on effective tax strategies and solutions, managing tax projects, and ensuring compliance with local and federal tax laws.


  • Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives for clients, including corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning
  • Review and analyze complex tax returns and financial statements to ensure compliance with local and federal tax laws
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of various tax returns, including income, sales, property, and payroll tax returns
  • Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities, including drafting responses and negotiating with the authorities, as needed
  • Conduct research on tax laws and regulations and provide guidance to clients on the implications of tax laws on their operations
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities for clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients and build strong relationships to identify and develop opportunities for the firm


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or a consulting firm
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required
  • In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including federal, state and local tax laws
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex tax issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical tax concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously


  • Salary: $150K/yr – $230K/yr, salary negotiable
