Staff Accountant
A well-known public accounting firm with a strong presence in the agriculture, manufacturing and construction industries in Visalia, CA is looking to hire a staff Accountant.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with seniors, managers and/or partners on various projects
- Apply basic knowledge of business functions, processes and strategies
- Prepare financial statements with disclosures
- Prepare federal and state tax returns
- Develop self-learning and problem-solving skills
- Involvement in marketing events/community service projects as appropriate
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA
- Knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- 3-5+ Years of experience in public accounting
