Tax Accountant
Hire Resolve has partnered with a large CPA firm that is looking for diligent Tax candidates in Baco Raton, FL. As a Tax Candidate, you will be responsible for overseeing the tax accounting functions of our clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and maximizing tax incentives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of tax laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Analyze financial statements and gather relevant information to determine tax liability
- Provide advice and guidance to clients on tax-related matters
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize incentives
- Evaluate tax regulations and make recommendations on how to incorporate changes into the company’s policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
- Keep track of tax filings and due dates to ensure compliance with regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA or relevant certification preferred
- Proven work experience as a Tax Accountant
- Knowledge of tax software and MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
