Tax Manager/ Accountant
Hire Resolve has a well-known client in Los Angeles, CA, who is seeking a CPA Tax Manager/ Accountant to join their CPA firm. The successful candidate will play an integral role in providing top-notch service to clients across the finance industry. As a CPA Tax Manager, you will be responsible for managing tax compliance and planning engagements for multiple clients. This will include providing technical expertise and guidance to team members, while managing and reviewing work products. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients and identifying areas for process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Providing clients with tax planning, advice, and strategies
- Preparing tax returns and related documentation accurately and timely
- Analyzing financial data and identifying areas for improvement
- Staying up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and legislation
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients and other professionals in the industry
- Representing clients in tax audits and investigations
- Managing staff by delegating tasks, providing guidance, and setting performance expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or equivalent certification
- 5+ years of experience in tax accounting
- Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing and mentoring staff
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
