Transportation Project Manager
An industry-leading client of ours is currently looking for the expertise of an experienced Transportation Project Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead technical work performed by project teams of transportation engineers and planners
- Mentor junior staff
- Manage production efficiency and execute quality control procedures
- Participate in public meetings for projects
- Deliver high-quality technical consultant services within established schedules and budgets
- Create and update project tasks, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource plan
- Frequent client contacts to ensure repeat client business and deliver growth
- Advocate for new projects and develop enhanced client relationships
- Assist in development of long-term strategic plan and goals
- Support or lead proposal and pursuit efforts
- Produce/review accurate and timely invoices
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, urban planning, or transportation planning
- Professional Engineering (PE) license
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience including 2 years of team management
- Thorough understanding and experience of MDOT and DelDOT procedures, specifications, and workflow
- Polished and effective written and oral communication skills
- Track record of professional achievement
- Ability to travel to client sites with same-day notice within Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia, and Pennsylvania
